Wasp Nest By Agatha Christie
This story took place in the late 1800's.
Wasp Nest is about 2 men named John Harrison and Hercule Poirot. Hercule Poirot is a dectective that is investigating a crime that has not yet taken place. He came by to see John Harrison to see if had heard anything about a murder that has not yet happend. Poirot notices a wasp nest in Harrisons garden and recommends that he destroys it. He said that Langton was coming later to destroy it. Poirot asks him about his soon to be wife Miss Molly Deane. And telling him that she was once engaged to Langton. And she threw Langton away for Harrison. Poirot said to Harrison how wierd it was about Langton being "friendly" to Miss Molly Deane and Harrison. He said "that a man may conceal his hate till the proper time comes." Poirot thinks Langton will have something to do with the murder. When Langton came by he did not take the wasps nest he talked to Harrison. Before Langton came Poirot put washing soda in Harrison's pocket. Harrison was the one who was supposed to die.
